Voice protein tracking: say what you ate

Describe your meal instead of typing each ingredient. Protio turns the recognized text into food entries you can check and adjust before logging.

Microphone permission and supported system speech recognition are needed. New meal analysis needs internet; available tries and purchase options are shown in the app.

“200 g of cooked chicken”

Example: 200 g × 31 g protein per 100 g = 62 g protein. The actual value depends on the food and preparation. This page does not use your microphone.
How it works →

1. Say the food and amount

Name each food and, when you know it, the weight you ate. Mention preparation, such as cooked chicken, so the description is clearer.

2. Check what was heard

Read the transcript before continuing. Correct a missed word or number. You can also type your description when speaking is inconvenient.

3. Review and confirm

Check the foods, portions and protein values in the result. An estimate can need correcting; only confirm when the entries match your meal.

Can I name a saved meal?

Yes. Protio can recognize a saved meal by name on your device and let you confirm its ingredients. For a new meal description, online analysis proposes the entries.
